This group is dedicated to my father Mike Moseley. He passed away suddenly on March 2,2008. He was a single parent raising 3 kids,
he was on disability, he suffered from degenerative disk disease that moved into his bones and in the last months of his life he had broken his hand and leg. He did anything and everything for his children Jessica(18),Michael(16), and Daniel(10). He fought in court with out a lawyer and got custody of all his children after countless hours of going to the law library and learning Virginia laws and statuets. His strength and determination got him what he wanted. He was an extrodinary man. On May 4th,2008 there will be a benifit concert in his memory and all proceeds are going to his children to help save the only home they have ever known and to futher their education. Mike wanted his children to get the best possible education, so they would never have to struggle like he did. He had recently went back to school hisself taking Adult Education classes two times a week and got his GED in September of 2006. Getting his GED and proving that your not to old to go back to school was something he was very proud of. Please come to show your support for local music and for a community coming together to help a family in need. On May 4th at the Petersburg Civic Center there will be many bands playing, The Kode, 4-Play,ReAwakened, Monkey Fist, F-5.A donation fund has been set up for the children at any BSV bank, in the name of Patricia Moseley Howerton(Mike's mother, who is now taking care of his children) the Emergency Relief Fund.
