This group is a place for charitable minded people to share ideas on how to perform altruistic works and help their local charities.

Do’s & Don’ts

DO’S DO share ideas and stories on fund-raising for charities. DO use the ideas here to raise money for your local, small, or favorite charity. DO get permission to use logos, signage, and published information in your fund-raising efforts. DO place your charitable links or badges on your own profile page. DO feel free to contact me with questions, suggestions, or should any problems arise.

DON’TS DO NOT send anything to people who’s ads make it to the topic postings unless checking them out thoroughly. DO NOT place links or trust any link that you may find posted in the topic area here. DO NOT fund-raise without informing the charity first as to your intentions. DO NOT try and sell things or solicit for donations. No one wants to be a part of a group that is constantly asking for donations and money. DO NOT post the same topic more than once.

Occasionally

I will allow a bulletin under special circumstances:

A soldier, firefighter, or police officer in need and their families.

A child, family, animal, or organization in desperate need.

I will only post these type of links in the bulletin section if you submit them to me in an e-mail and I can check them out thoroughly. Still please double check before contributing to them.

Remember

Major charities have a marketing strategy unlike anything you have ever seen.

Most of the charities I hope this group will help are smaller ones that need it.
However if you find information here and wish to use it to raise money or awareness for a major charity feel free.

Vice versa.

If you have information from a major charity that can help one of the smaller ones please share.

I and no one associated with “Charitable Deeds” will ever solicit funding or donations, other than your ideas, at any time from any member of this group.

DON'T BOTHER TO SOLICIT THE MEMBERS OF THIS GROUP FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH WANTS. THEY ARE WAY TOO SMART FOR THAT AND IT'LL PROBABLY RESULT IN GETTING YOU KICKED OUT
