Angels and Airwaves reflects an idea that the world is yours for the taking, and all that exists, exists inside you. It can be something as trivial as a personal struggle, or as grand as the inescapable idea of world peace.-Tom Delonge,





"Angels and Airwaves are an Alternative rock band that formed in 2005 after Tom DeLonge left blink-182. The bands current line up is Tom DeLonge Guitar/Vocals, David Kennedy Lead Guitar, Matt Wachter Bass and Atom Willard Drums. The band originally formed with Ryan Sinn as the bassist but he left the band in early 2007 due to difficulties with other band members.
The band released their debut album 'We Don't Need to Whisper' in 2006, and their first single 'The Adventure' shortly before that. The album recieved quite favourable reviews and was nominated for and won more awards than any of Tom DeLonge's previous bands. The album has sold over 1 million copies worldwide since last year. The album is notable for a departure from Tom DeLonges usual music style featuring its Edge Like guitars which were not present in any other music work by Tom DeLonge".
