Rewilding means dismantling Civilization not only externally but internally as well. It means undoing domestication not only by learning primitive skills but by Rewilding the way in which we interact and communicate with the world around us. It isn't another approach to "going green" but is based on the premise that Civilization is inherently anti life and unsustainable, and that it is already in the death throws of
it's existence. To Rewild is to return to our place in the community of life as equals, not as superiors.

Before you begin to post make sure you're familiar with the rules, which are:
~3 MAGIC RULES OF DISCOURSE~
1.) Tell your story, or ask a question; don't tell others their own story as if you know about it, because only they do.
2.) Don't insult anyone in the group.
3.) Lastly, interpret all posts you find objectionable as your failure to recognize their good intent and then ask them if this is truly the case. This should avoid shouting matches and needless insults
If you have a noticeable tendency of breaking the rules I'll boot you.
If you're new to Rewilding, I suggest you start with the books in the reading list below. You'll get a better idea of what this rewilding stuff is all about by reading up a bit, rather than just asking here on the forum. The same information can be found and the same questions answered in a much clearer and concise way at a library or bookstore. I'm also building a list of informative and useful sites below, so go ahead and check those out as well.
* If you really only want to concentrate on Quinn and specifically his book Ishmael, there are a number of other groups here on myspace that focus on that.
