This group started on Facebook as a band looking for members, but then the creator had a better idea:

If you're a Christian musician who remembers the days of the Ark (or the Refinery for you young'ns), and the days when we had awesome bands coming through this town all the time, then this is the group for you, a place for the Christian musicians of Wilmington, NC to re-connect and begin to rebuild and surpass our former "glory".
But more importantly to restore a lost ministry in our city. More than ever music is a deeply rooted part of our society and community, and the absence of Christian musicians taking their place in the public arena has left a dark shadow over this community.

I know that a web page on the internet isn't going to change anything, but HOPEFULLY it will be a place for musicians to meet, communicate, and inform each other of the things happening in our city so that we can support each other and bring about change.

This is a place for local Christian bands to let people know they're here, to find committed musicians when they need them, to let others know about upcoming shows, and to be a musical hub for the city of Wilmington. We may not have one place to hang out in the middle of town, right now, but we can let each other know where the action is so we can all be there.
