Since November 6th, 2008, students in Taiwan have launched a sit-in movement against the "Parade and Assembly Law" which contradicts the Taiwan Constitution Law. This US segment of this movement is meant to create awareness and acknowledgment of the violation of human rights and democracy that have been occurring within the mainstream US media.
