Speciesist propaganda tells us we should consider any being who is not human as a 'thing', an 'object', a 'commodity', a 'merchandise'. Just as veganism rejects the belief that nonhuman animals are "property" or "commodities", speciesism promotes that belief.

Speciesism (definition): System, law, actions and/or sayings that consider only those animals of the human species i.e. Homo-Sapiens as 'persons' or 'subjects', being everyone else i.e. all nonhuman animals considered as a means to the ends of human beings.
