Though most of us simple folks like ’to brush the fingers over the strings of (a musical instrument) in playing’, or ’utter words in musical tones and with musical inflections and modulations, or ’strumming’ and ’singing’, as well as occasionally ’move or seem to move up and down or about in a quick or lively manner’, and ’dance’.
