BOTTOMS UP WITH ASHLEY BOTTOMS: " First she put the "T" in Tgirl, now she puts the "T" in Talk...!!! " My name is Ashley Bottoms and I am the Hostess of BOTTOMS UP WITH ASHLEY BOTTOMS, a new local cable access show starting up in the FALL of 2009... I started out in the beginning of 2009 with doing both print and runway fashion and was one of the female runway models, the only Transgendered model, for The Fashion Rocks Boston Fashion Show on April 2, 2009 at The District Lounge in Boston, MA. where I received rave reviews. In the Spring of 2009 I was booked as the special guest star of WROR 105.7's Loren and Wally Morning Show where I represented the Transgendered Community in a positive light and my appearance was again met with rave reviews, so much that WROR dedicated a good portion of their next days broadcast to reviewing a lot of the emails that they had received on the morning of my appearance. Then I was asked by Sal to become one of the Co-Hosts of SAL'S SHOW, where my fellow co-hosts and I strung up a rapport with one another and an on the air chemistry that Sal himself says is a winner. We tend to tease the performers a bit, but deep down inside we love them all and we know all too well the hard work and effort that goes into each and every performance as we ourselves are performing as well and are not perfect. I pitched the idea to Sal in June of 2009 about having a show at the network where we could bring in the local talent to be interviewed. Something where I could talk to them on a more intimate level and let the viewers see a different side of the talent that came through these doors. a show where we could show the viewers hard these local talents work to succeed at what they do. Well, after a few Independent Films and MC appearances, in September of 2009, BOTTOMS UP was given the green light and has begun taping, and the show is treally taking off too...!!!
