The statistics show that hunger is a growing issue in America. More and more people are using soup kitchens, food pantries, as the gap between the haves and have nots continues to widen. Each day, children go without the nourishment they need to thrive, creating a continuing cycle of poverty.

BAH hopes to change that by calling attention in the blog world, and the media to this issue.

We are planning a three day blogathon, most likely in June. Each blogger will be asked to post a blog on the topic of hunger in America, along with a link to a local food bank or hunger organization.

Your input is needed, please join, and speak out!

Your blogs can be about hunger, about volunteering against hunger, about organizations making a difference, ideas you have for making changes, and anything that you believe can call attention to the situation.
