The NY Librarians Meetup is an informal offline social networking group. Members meet in casual settings, often at a library or coffee shop. All are free to exchange job news, questions and answers concerning trends in technology, offerings in SILS schools, and continuing education opportunities (including METRO, of course!). Librarians and library students hail from all fields of the profession (IT and KM, both). Currently, there is no membership fee, and cost of event is nominal based on venue.
