Usagi (meaning rabbit) is a ronin (masterless samurai) at the beginning of Edo period in Japan (early 17th century) which saw the rise of the Shogun. After losing his lord and master on the battle field to a rival lord, Usagi now wonders around Japan as a yojimbo (bodyguard) for hire and helps people when they need it. He has battled any times and has countless enemies but he has also gained many friends on his journey.
