PAW is focused on animal welfare and rights in regards to a variety of different issues. We are strong proponents of vegetarian/vegan lifestyles, but we also focus on issues such as pet care, experimentation, animals as sport and entertainment, environmental issues, human and worker rights, and health issues. Most members come to the group with specific concerns which we then transform into active campaigns. We also encourage our members to volunteer with local groups and organizations to help the community and the causes of their choice. PAW hosts events, films, speakers, pot lucks, tables, and fundraisers throughout the year to advocate cruelty-free lifestyles, vegetarianism/veganism, and the humane treatment of all animals.
