From Dec 4th 2007, I will no longer be running the fund for animals, this is because I have to spend a lot of time sending out bulletins to ask for donations, and it's taking too much time, I have to concentrate on Last Angel Equine Defence. The Sue Bundrick Memorial Fund For Animals is here to help those rescues who are in a crisis situation and who are in immediate need of help. it is the grass-roots organisations that need the most help. A fund like this could make a big difference to those rescues who find themselves in a crisis; rescues who may find themselves facing closure or struggling to continue to provide for the animals in their care. These are the people for who the emergency fund will exist
We would love you to join our group, but if you would like to join, please make a donation-we only ask for $1 or £1 per week, but if you can't manage to donate every week, then please make a donation whenever you can...The group is specifically intended to raise funds for animal rescues in financial crisis.
For animal rescuers in a crisis situation: We ask that you submit an application to the fund in the form of a letter to:

Your letter will then be forwarded to those people who are eligible to vote, and the decision on who receives the fund's monthly donation will be made by the voters. Votes will be kept anonymous to the public, this is to ensure that no feelings are hurt and people can vote without offending their friends.

We will be continuing to use Paypal to collect donations, but we will soon have a postal address in the U.S. and the U.K. for those who wish to make a donation by cheque. We are hoping to add addresses to which cheques can be sent to other countries in the future.
When we receive your donation, we will e-mail you back to ask for your Myspace URL. If you do not return the e-mail telling us what your Myspace URL is, we will not be able to identify you, thus you will not be able to vote.
Voting will take place the 1st day of each month until the 3rd day of each month, but donations will be continuous. Any donations received between the last day of the month until the 4th of the following month will be kept for the following month's fund, thus giving late donors enough time to decide on who to vote for.
Please note: The deadline for receiving applications from animal rescues is the 27th of each month

Hundreds of thousands of dogs suffer in puppy mills in this country. The dogs are prisoners of greed. They are locked in small cages. They freeze in the winter and swelter in the summer. The dogs never get out of their prisons. They are bred over and over again until they die. The only way to free them from the misery of these horrid puppymills is to eliminate the demand for puppies by refusing to buy a puppy in a pet store and boycotting those pet stores that sell puppies. When people stop buying puppies in pet stores, the puppy mills will go out of business and the misery will end. The state and federal governments do not enforce the laws to protect the dogs. There are so many dogs desperately needing help! Cara Animal Rescue is based in Wales, they take dogs out of welsh pounds and save them from death row. They need volunteer drivers, foster carers for the dogs, forever homes and funds to help continue their work.
