The Coburg Harriers were established in 1896, making them one of the oldest athletcs clubs in Australia. It has been home to Olympians like Raylene Boyle and Herb Elliott and Paralympians like Lachlan Jones and Jodie Willis

In 2008, the Coburg Harriers are a vibrant family club with well over 100 members who either train with the Harriers for fun and fitness, compete in Athletics Victoria or Masters competition or are working towards their next fun run or triathlon goal

The Coburg Harriers compete in Athletics Victoria winter and summer competitions. In Summer, the club competes as part of the North West Region in Men's Division 2, 3, 40+, and Women's Div 1. The club also field teams in the junior section at U16 and U18 level

In Winter, the club competes in the Athletics Victoria ten round cross country season in Men's Division 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, plus women's Div 2 and 4. During winter the club also has a 10 race club run calendar and in April host the Coburg 24 Hour Event, encompassing the Victorian 24 Hour Track Championship and the Australian Centurions Walk

With a regular fun run schedule during most months of the year, the Coburg Harriers Club has so much to offer.
