General Information
Every Wednesday, the Main Pub in Manchester, CT, presents Open Mic Night, hosted by Dan Prindle. Main Pub Open Mic night is open to all who wish to perform. In addition, there is a featured performer each week. The featured performers range from solo artists to full bands and include some of the best local artists as well as regional and national touring acts.
Advance sign ups are available weekly here at our myspace group (http://groups.myspace.com/mainpubopenmic), or performers may sign up in person, beginning at 8:30pm every Wednesday. Open mic begins at 9pm. Every LAST Wednesday of each month, we record the performances and make a selection of songs available here
via podcast.

All of the special events listed below will take place during open mic night at the Main Pub. Performance slots will still be available to performers on all of these nights.

SONGWRITER'S CIRCLE 2
The New England Songwriter's Circle is a quarterly event that will feature three songwriters from New England performing in a round-robin format. Each artist will perform four songs from his or her newest recording. The artists in the Songwriter's Circle will perform for one hour and will be preceded and followed by an open mic, which is open to all who wish to perform. Space is limited, so it is recommended that musicians who are interested in performing sign up in advance at http://groups.myspace.com/mainpub. A myspace account is required to sign up.
The Songwriter's Circle performance will be recorded and made available digitally 48 hours after the performance at no cost via podcast.
