METAL CAMPOUT 2008 HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED!!!!!!!!
WE WILL BE HOLDING THE EVENT ON THE WEEKEND OF AUGUST 1ST-3RD. BANDS WILL PLAY THE NIGHT OF THE FIRST AND LATE INTO THE NIGHT ON THE 2ND!!!!
Fans and bands in the Pacific Northwest!
Imagine this, if you will:
2 DAYS OF LIVE METAL, with over 20 Metal bands from around the Pacific Northwest.
A HUGE OUTDOOR STAGE, on top of a mountain on private property which has been cleared for parking and camping and, of course, moshing.
HUNDREDS OF YOUR METAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS all having the time of their lives, hanging out with their favorite local bands.
CAN YOU DIG IT?!
This is the Metal Campout: Presented by The Metal Mafia, this is hands down, the biggest and baddest local Independant Metal event of the summer in the greater Spokane area!
Here’s some more details for those of you that are coming:
FACILITIES:
Camping = This is the top of a mountain. Large level spots are hard to find. The ground is rough and I advise you to bring something thicker than just a sleeping bag to sleep on. The weather should be pretty warm all night. FIRES ARE ALLOWED IN BARBEQUES AND BURN BARRELS ONLY. BURN BARRELS ARE SCATTERED AROUND THE PROPERTY. PLEASE TRY TO SHARE FIRE PITS. Bring your own food. There will be some barbeque for sale but come prepared to feed yourself. Bring your own drinks and water as well. Campers/RVs are allowed.
Bathrooms = There will be 2 porta-potties on the land for our use.
Lights = The property is lit up around the stage by floodlights and bonfire at night. Bring a flashlight and/or lamp if you are staying the night!
WHAT DOES IT COST:
Entry is $5 per person or $20 per carload of 4 or more. This is for the whole weekend!
DIRECTIONS:
The show is a little over an hour from Spokane.
>From Spokane, take I-90 East into Couer D’Alene.
>Take Hwy 95 exit and go North (left) towards Silverwood Theme Park/Sandpoint.
>Drive North past Hayden to Garwood.
>After Garwood Rd, watch for Ohio Match. It is a road with no signal, on the Right side of the highway. If you see Silverwood Theme Park, you went too far!
>Turn Right on Ohio Match.
>Go 2.7 miles (the road will turn to gravel about halfway) Look for the driveway on the left side. |
