This is a group for anyone who has a boyfriend, fiance, husband in the Navy.
This is a support group. Those with opposing views are allowed to state their difference of opinion. Let it be known that there is a difference between a heated and passion debate (such as religon and politics) versus drama. Name calling will not be tolerated, should you wish to behave as a 1st grader with name calling, you will be removed from the group.
Also, OpSec rules will be strictly enforced, as it is our duty to know what information to share and what to keep to ourselves to ensure every sailor and ship's safety. Basic rule of thumb, you can say where your sailor's ship has been. You cannot share where the ship is right now on deployment or how long they are in a port, and their mission. You also can't post specific dates and times of deployment departures or homecomings until after the fact. **If your posted topic suddenly disappears, then it probably was deleted by the moderator as it violated OpSec.
Good Example: My sailor's ship is coming back in less then a week from a deployment!
Bad Example: My sailor is coming home at 10:15am on October 15th in San Diego after a 6 month deployment on the USS MakeUpAName.
DRAMA FREE CLAUSE: Members can be banned from this group if they have been found to repeatedly cause drama. Examples include inconsistencies with given information in stories or in member profiles, starting up a post only to take back one's actions on it later, and multiple bitching about how everything is the Navy's fault.
