| The mission of the NYC Prog Collective is to bring together local progressive / avant garde musicians, to network and organize a community. This is for the bands who feel out of place playing a 30-minute set sandwiched between two ska bands, and want to promote a scene for like-minded musicians and fans. We want the weird kids in school to get together so we can stop hiding our graphing calculators, put on our ear medicine in public, and wear our Dungeons And Dragons shirts with pride.
