The Single Global Currency Group on MySpace, as a "chapter" of the Single Global Currency Association, seeks the implementation of a Single Global Currency, managed by a Global Central Bank within a Global Monetary Union, by the year 2024. The Single Global Currency will save the world hundreds of billions annually through the elimination of foreign exchange transaction costs, the elimination of the need for foreign exchange reserves, and the elimination of currency fluctuations and the risk of currency crises.
International trade and travel will increase, and the world’s GDP and global asset values will increase by trillions.
The Group and the Association will work toward this goal through a worldwide campaign of public education and advocacy and local chapters in every currency area (monetary union or country) in the world. The Single Global Currency will be achieved through the creation, expansion and merger of monetary unions. The Group and the Association believe that the people of the world want uniform stable money for domestic and international use; and an end to the existing wasteful and risky multi-currency system. |
