Major labels have budgets for promotion, booking, and management... which are seemingly endless. They have the best of the best, but sometimes the fans don't feel included in their favorite bands' careers... when it is really them that buy the cd's, go to the shows, and make all the difference!! Indie artists usually have enough gas money in their pockets to barely make it to the next show, no budget for marketing and promotion, and barely enough time between day jobs and shows to book new shows or promote their next show... How can small, talented, yet poor indie artists possibly make it happen? The answer is by including their fans in their music lives...
I mean, doesn't it make sense? It should be your friends telling you what you should listen to, not some big wig executive!!
Here's where you come in... your input is widely needed and appreciated! Show how you are helping, and ideas of how others can help!
