Welcome to the group! This group is about supporting same-sex marriage, whether you're LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual) or straight.
Simple quick rules for the group, PLEASE READ THEM:
Do not contact customer service for problems with the group, contact the mod!
1. Stay on topic; the topic being supporting same-sex marriage, information on same-sex marriage, LGBT politics, so on and so forth. This is NOT a place to figure out your sexuality, talk about how others taunt you in school, ask about being gay/bi, your relationship problems, etc. Please keep this informational and political about SAME-SEX MARRIAGE.
2. DO NOT link to "hate threads" in other groups or post hate emails encouraging responses. I will ban for this.
3. No Spam, this means: No add me requests, no "read my blog" posts (just post what your blog says in the group), no advertising your groups, no advertising bands, or items for sale (this includes free give aways), no advertising events, no advertising the book you're writing, etc. Spam is a possible banning.
4. No surveys and no questions for class projects - there is no validation as to who you really are, and we are not here to be "subjects".
5. Respect each other.
6. You will be immediately banned and removed for posting anyone's address's and/or phone numbers including your own. Public officials information is ok to post.
7. Please read the pinned topics. You can do this by clicking "View all topics". All those topics that appear are called pinned topics, they are important to this group and will answer your questions and help you from repeating a topic.
8. Please give me at least 24 hours before you complain that a topic hasn't been deleted.
9. Do not write posts or threads complaining about other posts or threads. It's redundant and makes my work harder. Complaining won't make it happen any faster, it will make it slower because now I have to delete yours too.
10. In introduction threads, where the person states their orientation, you may be banned for pointing out that they mention their orientation instead of thanking them. Example: Complaining that they are stating they are straight.
Support is support just like love is love!
*Since we are proudly the number 1 group in the Gay, Lesbian and Bi category, we are extremely prone to regular attacks. Just ignore them please.
Oh, and you must watch Same Sex America!!!! Only because it deals with this exact issue, and both sides of the MA gay marriage bill:) Just kidding, you don't have to, but you should - it's really good and I highly recommend it!
