Is clean Minnesota water for our kids and grandkids worth adding a penny or two to the price of a cup of coffee?
On November 4, 2008, we will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to protect the Minnesota we love by amending the Constitution to preserve our waters, natural lands, habitat and culture for generations to come.
The investment amounts to just over 1 penny on the price of a $2.50 cup of coffee. Just under a nickel on the price of a $10.00 lunch. For clean lakes, rivers and streams generations of future Minnesotans will enjoy, Vote YES Minnesota. Your grandchildren will thank you for it.
What does it mean to Protect the Minnesota You Love?
In broad terms, Vote YES Minnesota is about the urgent need to invest over the next 30 years to protect Minnesota’s water, land, air and culture.
But at the end of the day, “the Minnesota you love” is personal – right?
It’s the experience of living here - summers at the cabin, opening day, fishing that special spot, concerts in the park, fall hikes, spring flowers, wildlife, memories and dreams, friends, neighbors. family and hopes for generations yet to come.
Think about your perfect Minnesota day.
Then ask yourself: “Is it worth a few cents a day to make sure my kids and grandkids have perfect days like that too?” |
