It all started January 16th 2003
Walking through an art exhibit at the Etherton Gallery in Tucson I noticed a man walking around with a sign on his back. He was an older guy probably an artist or something, a real creative type. I was curious, what did he feel so strongly about that he would wear a cardboard sign to an ART opening? I was being distracted by good art and interesting people, while trying to get a good look at his sign. When I was able to read the sign it said “Peace Rally on the University of Arizona Mall 9AM Saturday January 18th.”
I was thinking to myself, Rally for peace? Why do we have to rally for peace, shouldn’t peace be the norm? The foundation of our society? Shouldn’t peace be World Policy? Shouldn’t peace be the language that all great nations learn and live by? Why is peace something we have to fight for? What’s wrong with our country when we have to fight for peace? This was two months before the start of the Iraq war and just the idea that we had to fight for peace seemed absurd and created many questions in my mind.
When you look at the big blue planet in the picture what do you see? What do you see for your future, your families future your children your neighbors your country? Can you look into the future of our planet and see a world without war? How far off in the distance is a World Without War? 100 maybe 200 hundred years? And how do we get there? What is the first step? Who are the brave souls who will build this new world? Is it you is it me, is 100, 1000, 10,000, one million people on a myspace group? How do we begin to build a world without war?
Well, I can certainly tell you, government and religion, the two forms of leadership in this country and in this world will not lead us there. And there is only one group who are more powerful than any one religion or any government and that is the all the people of the world. People, it is only people who can lead the way to a world with out war. People of all nations, all religions, all races, all walks of life, need to join together with one common goal, to build a world without war one little step at a time. It is time for the people of the world to stand together to speak the truth of what they believe, to stand together to change the world.
I believe, so I will start this group. I ask only two things if you join, you have the courage to invite everyone you know to join with us and that you speak only what your truly believe in your heart mind and soul.
What do you believe?

And I might change this a intro a bit I just wanted to get it started its been five years and one week since I wrote this and that is too long.
“We are Americans, if we can dream it we can build it. If we can dream of a future without war, or hatred, or evil, a future where light, love and peace are the core of the human race, then this is what we will build.”
