Zia-Trance features the best of goa, psytrance, and progressive trance; with regular updated playlists, and special events. The kind of music played on the station spans the entire genre, all the way from dreamy progressive trance to dark and heavy full-on. Music from the beginning of goa trance to contemporary material is showcased.
National and international DJs are featured on Zia-Trance on a rotating two week schedule. Emerging DJs as well as established DJs are highlighted. Record label's and producer's submissions for air play are also welcomed. Please go to the contact page if interested.
The Zia Sun Symbol that is used as the name and logo for the station originated with the Native American culture of the Zia Pueblo located in New Mexico, USA. The design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its teachings of the basic harmony of all things in the universe. The four directions of the Zia symbol are spiritually signifigant to them . The Zia believe that in the great brotherhood of all things, man has four sacred obligations: he must develop a strong body, a clear mind, a pure spirit, and a devotion to the welfare of his people. All of these are bound together within the circle of life.
Zia-Trance was started in July 2003, and through hard work and a healthy dose of collaboration it has steadily built a dedicated audience throughout the world, while staying committed to playing top quality psychedelic electronic music. |
