Lorie Ann Grover is the cofounder of the literacy social media project, readergirlz, recipient of the National Book Foundation’s Innovation in Reading Prize.
Her blog, readertotz, raises the profile of board books. Her own board book, Bedtime Kiss for Little Fish, has sold over 220,000 copies and was named one of Parents Magazine 20 Best Children's Books of 2009. Lorie Ann's art clients have included Coca Cola.Lorie Ann also writes award-winning young adult novels such as Hold Me Tight,a Voya Top Poetry Pick; On Pointe, a Girls Life Magazine Top 10 Summer Read; and Loose Threads, a Booklist Top 10 Youth First Novel. Married, a mother of two grown daughters, Lorie Ann lives at the base of Mount Rainier in Washington state.
