i've pretty much had it with watching the liberals tell my people what to say and play them like puppets! when are we going to start teaching our children to think for themselves? when are WE going to start thinking for ourselves?! it's time for the black republicans to step out and share with one another political views and personal convictions. we can't make a difference if we never identify ourselves!

what is so wrong with black people thinking for themselves?
why do liberals wish to have total control over our minds and political decisions?
why isn't my individuality appreciated by a group that claims to LOVE individuality?
why do white AND black liberals feel like they need to "save" us from our own intelligence? ..so we can go back to being blind, being led by the blind?
and why... oh, why... do my OWN PEOPLE hate me?!

1) KNOW WHO WE ARE: and if you don't like it, don't try to change us, just leave. we are a group of politically conservative blacks (and other races, i think). some people that debate here are not conservative and are only here to stir up whatever they can. IF THAT IS YOU: we have made up our minds, and though debate is welcome in the open forum, IGNORANCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. topics shall pertain to politics or the black community (from a conservative stand point), or any other NON-OFFENSIVE discussion.

2) RESPECT ONE ANOTHER! i'm not one for censorship under general circumstances, but this has nothing to do with your rights of free speech. unnecessary name calling and general down-talk is not acceptable and if i catch it i WILL delete it. i believe in words of affirmation, and if you don't know how to agree to disagree, i will ban you. there are a lot of sensitve matters dicussed in this forum and the last thing we need is someone closed minded who is not even arguing a point.
this is your only warning: the beauty of the internet is that everyone has their niche, and this is ours. we don't go into your pro-choice, pro-white or pro-black, anti-Bush, anti-white or anti-black forums and tell you what you should be thinking or how wrong you are (at least that is not advocated) so DON'T DO IT TO US. if you don't like what you see, leave. but don't become a thorn in our side. recognize that not everyone thinks alike, and respect that.
