If you like fruit, especially strawberries, and you like beer, this is for you.
OK here's the deal, there are only so many places that serve this on draught, but don't worry, it's a compromise but the bottles are good.
Love beer, love fruit, embrace the fantastic fruity stuff...now!
This is a fruli free for all. So whoever you are, whenever and wherever you find it, let us all know, after all why should you keep a discovery as good as that to yourself?
Post your findings and your thoughts... lets create something special... lets get fruity!
The Leicester Fruli trail
The Rutland and Derby Arms. Friday July 22nd at approx. 22:00 we discovered fruli for the first time.
I actually conned Dan into ordering it for a laugh saying it was a fantastic drink even though I'd actually never tried it.
The rest however... is history.
The Looking Glass. This is a cracking little pub (owned by the same bloke as The Rutland and Derby Arms).
However, when you first go in you may think we have lied and they do not infact have the fantasy fruit at all... but rest assured it is there.
Nine Bar. On Narborough road, if you are to follow the fruli trail this is your best starting point.
Again it's a small pub, but also again, a little corker. On a sunny day chill-ya-boots outside with a strawberry sensation... you won't be disappointed you started here!
NB: A fruli group member has attended each of these pubs and can
confirm that fruli is sold on draught.
We have found others that are now on the original Leicester fruli trail Sutra - Narborough Road Market Bar - Market place The Basement Terrace bar Antibos The Loaded Dog
